Toyota's Prado and Lexus's GX, new SUVs in Australia, differ in engine types and efficiency.

Toyota and Lexus have launched new SUVs in Australia: the Prado and the GX, both based on Toyota's TNGA-F platform. The Prado, available in five variants, uses a 2.8-liter diesel engine with a mild hybrid system, while the Lexus GX, available in three variants, uses a more powerful but less efficient twin-turbo V6 petrol engine. The GX is priced higher, requiring premium fuel and having a smaller fuel tank, resulting in lower fuel efficiency compared to the Prado.
