Present Pillars receives $207,500 in grants to boost men's health and community relations in Benton Harbor.

Present Pillars, a Benton Harbor advocacy group focused on fatherhood, has received $207,500 in grants. The Michigan Health Endowment Fund awarded $150,000 for men's health initiatives, ALPACT provided $50,000 to enhance police-community relations and support the expungement program, and the St. Joseph-Benton Harbor Rotary Club Foundation gave $7,500 to upgrade technology at the Pillar Center. Director James Gunter believes these funds will improve the community.
