A survey by the Metropolitan Police Federation revealed that nearly 90% of the 486 officers who worked at the Notting Hill Carnival felt unsafe during the event, with 28.78% reporting assaults. The federation's 24-page dossier also highlighted two murders, eight stabbings, and 349 arrests, along with 61 officers being assaulted. Notting Hill Carnival Ltd criticized the survey as flawed and part of an anti-carnival agenda.
