Man diagnosed with motor neurone disease launches fundraising campaign for experimental treatments.

Barry Jones, a 45-year-old pipe fitter from Milford Haven, UK, received a diagnosis of motor neurone disease (MND), a condition that affects the brain and nerves, leading to progressive muscle weakness and difficulty with basic activities. Given only two years to live, Jones and his wife Holly have launched a fundraising campaign to explore experimental treatments, raising over £11,000 in a few days. MND, while rare, has affected notable individuals like Stephen Hawking and Rob Burrow.
