Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin has suspended non-essential visiting due to an outbreak of diarrhoea and vomiting affecting over 50 patients and staff. Three wards are closed to new admissions. Essential visitors, including those for palliative, pediatric, and special needs patients, are still allowed. The hospital is operating at 124% capacity and has temporarily diverted ambulances and postponed some surgeries.
