Community mourns lost autistic boy Joshua Al-Lateef Jr., found after drowning; parents push for "Joshua Alert" system.

Six-year-old nonverbal autistic boy Joshua Al-Lateef Jr. was laid to rest after he accidentally drowned after going missing from his West Chester home. His body was found in a nearby pond after a community search lasting over 28 hours. His parents, Jonisa Cook and Joshua Al-Lateef Sr., are advocating for a "Joshua Alert" system for missing children with autism spectrum disorders and have started a Change.org petition. They also thanked the community for their support.
