China's Yellow River faces ice-jam flooding, with over 270,000 people mobilized for emergency response.

The lower reaches of China's Yellow River have entered the ice-jam flooding season, a period caused by fluctuating temperatures leading to ice flows that can damage river banks and structures. In response, the Yellow River Shandong Bureau has conducted risk inspections and mobilized over 270,000 people for ice control. Eight rescue teams, two ice explosion groups, and 85 ice observation groups have been established to monitor and handle emergencies.
