Arthur Smith, the Pittsburgh Steelers' offensive coordinator and a North Carolina alum, has declined the head coaching position at his alma mater. Despite initial interest and contact, Smith said he is happy in his current role and will not be leaving the NFL to take the job. The decision comes after the University of North Carolina announced the firing of their current coach, Mack Brown.
