Two teenagers, aged 14 and 16, were arrested after police officers were exposed to a suspected alkaline substance at Surbiton railway station in southwest London. Two officers were hospitalized, while seven others were checked by paramedics. The station was closed temporarily, causing significant travel disruptions. The teens face charges of possessing a corrosive substance and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm. Services resumed by 7pm.
