Shedeur Sanders broke Colorado's single-season passing record, set in 1995, with a touchdown pass.

Shedeur Sanders, Colorado's senior quarterback, broke the school's single-season passing record, surpassing Koy Detmer's 28-year-old mark. Sanders hit the milestone by throwing a 10-yard touchdown pass to LaJohntay Wester, needing only 40 yards to break the previous record of 3,527 yards. This achievement came in the first quarter against Oklahoma State and marked his 31st touchdown pass of the season, also a new school record.
