Norwalk's commission reviews plans to turn a five-story office into a hotel and apartments, adding affordable housing.

Norwalk's Planning and Zoning Commission is reviewing a proposal to convert a five-story office building into a 96-room hotel and 100 apartments. Developer Jason Milligan plans to add the hotel to the east and apartments to the west, expanding the building’s footprint by about 2,400 square feet. The project aims to maintain the existing office and commercial spaces while adding affordable apartments for students and young professionals. A traffic study predicts 120 new daily trips. The development won't affect the coastal area or pose flood risks.
