Karoline Leavitt, 27, has been appointed as the youngest White House press secretary in U.S. history by President-elect Donald Trump. Leavitt, a former assistant press secretary under Trump’s first administration, has been a strong supporter of Trump throughout his campaigns. She previously worked as communications director for Rep. Elise Stefanik and ran for Congress in New Hampshire in 2022, winning her primary but losing the general election.
