India extends tax filing deadline for taxpayers with international transactions to December 15.

The Central Board of Direct Taxes has extended the income tax return filing deadline for taxpayers with international transactions to December 15, 2024, from the original date of November 30. This applies to those required to submit reports under Section 92E, which involves specified domestic and international transactions. These taxpayers must also file a report from a chartered accountant by October 31, with a penalty of Rs 1 lakh for non-compliance.
