A bus crash in Bangladesh sparked anti-India protests, threatening Indian passengers.

A bus traveling from Tripura to Kolkata was involved in a minor accident in Bangladesh, colliding with an auto-rickshaw after a truck tried to overtake it. Though no injuries were reported, Indian passengers faced threats and anti-India slogans from local residents. Tripura's Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury condemned the incident and called for Bangladeshi authorities to ensure the safety of Indian travelers. The Agartala-Dhaka bus service, which resumed in June 2022, faces concerns over passenger safety.
