Two government employees in Jammu and Kashmir were fired for alleged ties to terrorist groups.
The Jammu and Kashmir government has dismissed two employees, Abdul Rehman Naika and Zahir Abbas, for alleged ties to terrorist groups, specifically Hizbul Mujahideen. Naika, a pharmacist, was implicated in plotting the assassination of a political figure, while Abbas, a teacher, was arrested for harboring terrorists and providing them with support. Both were fired under Article 311 (2) (c) of the Indian Constitution after investigations confirmed their involvement in terror activities.
