Rabobank report: Adding feed supplements to dairy cows could cut Australia's dairy emissions by the equivalent of 103,000 cars.

Rabobank's report suggests using feed additives to reduce methane from dairy cows could cut Australia's dairy sector emissions by 226,000 tonnes of CO2 annually, equivalent to removing 103,000 cars from the road. This strategy would cost about $35.1 million yearly, or less than 2.5 cents per litre of milk, potentially shared by farmers, processors, retailers, and consumers. The dairy sector's emissions currently make up 3% of Australia's total GHG emissions.
