Nigerian health agency warns of counterfeit drugs, seizes fake medicines worth over $700,000.

The Nigerian health agency, NAFDAC, has warned about counterfeit Combiart dispersible tablets circulating in Nigeria, which lack active ingredients and pose severe health risks. Additionally, NAFDAC seized over N300 million worth of fake medicines in Lagos, including amoxicillin and ampiclox capsules. The agency urges the public to report any suspicious products to prevent health complications and deaths from substandard drugs.
