National Highways proposes reducing speed limits on parts of the A120 in Essex to reduce injury severity.

National Highways is consulting on reducing the speed limit on parts of the A120 in Essex from 60mph to 50mph to reduce injury severity. The change is proposed based on a collision analysis showing higher than average injuries between Great Tey and Bradwell. The consultations, running until December 19th for the Bradwell to Marks Tey section and December 20th for the Horsley Cross to Harwich section, also consider extending the 40mph limit in Bradwell.
