Myanmar has earned over $2.7 billion from agricultural exports between April 1 and October 25 in the 2024-2025 fiscal year, as reported by the state-run Global New Light of Myanmar. Sea exports contributed over $2.3 billion, while border trade added $440 million. Agriculture makes up more than 30% of Myanmar's GDP, with exports including agricultural, animal, mineral, and forest products.
