Malawi's court orders football association to pay ex-coach $540,000 for wrongful termination.

The Industrial Relations Court in Blantyre ordered the Football Association of Malawi to pay former national team coach Meke Mwase K440 million as compensation for wrongful termination. The amount covers Mwase's remaining 36 months of his contract, similar to the pay of his predecessors. Though less than the requested K518 million, Mwase’s lawyer expressed satisfaction with the ruling. FAM's lawyer said they would consider appealing.
