European agency lifts ban on Pakistani airlines, allowing flights to resume after three years.

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has lifted the ban on Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and other Pakistani airlines, allowing them to resume flights to Europe after a three-year suspension. The ban was initially imposed in 2020 due to concerns about pilot licensing and safety issues. The lifting of the ban follows efforts by Pakistan to improve aviation safety and meet international standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
