China eases visa rules for Shenzhen residents visiting Hong Kong, aiming to boost tourism.

China has eased visa restrictions for Shenzhen residents traveling to Hong Kong, allowing unlimited visits within a year, with each stay capped at seven days, starting December 1. This change aims to boost Hong Kong's tourism sector. Additionally, from January 1, Zhuhai residents in Guangdong province can apply for weekly visit permits to Macao, up from the previous once every two months. These policy changes are expected to benefit retail and catering industries in Hong Kong and Macao.
