Australian sheep producers see a big boost in confidence due to better prices and weather.

Australian sheep producers' confidence has surged this quarter, thanks to higher lamb and mutton prices and better weather conditions in most states. The survey by Meat & Livestock Australia and Australian Wool Innovation shows a significant rise in producer sentiment from -42 points last year to +42 points this year. Western Australia remains the only state with a negative outlook, though its sentiment has improved by 69 points compared to last year. Producers are nearly equally split on whether to increase or decrease their flock sizes.
