Zookeepers helped Flop, a sick abandoned penguin, learn to walk again and thrive.

Flop, a baby Humboldt penguin at Dudley Zoo, overcame severe health issues including a limp and inability to stand after her parents abandoned her. Zookeepers crafted a special bouncer and treadmill to help her mobility and digestion. With aid from Toronto Zoo and a physiotherapist, Flop gained strength and learned to stand on her own. She is now preparing to rejoin the main penguin colony.
