Zimbabwe's Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube has proposed reducing import duty on electric vehicles from 40% to 25% starting January 2025 to boost eco-friendly transportation. The move is part of efforts to reach a 33% market share for EVs by 2030 and includes extending duty rebates for equipment used in solar-powered EV charging stations.
