A youth in western Germany has been arrested for allegedly planning an Islamic extremist attack using pipe bombs. The suspect, whose name and age were not disclosed, was apprehended on Tuesday evening. Prosecutors claim he became radicalized online and shared Islamic State propaganda. During searches, authorities found two bayonets, four sections of pipe, and additional items possibly intended for an ignition mechanism. No explosives were discovered, and there were no signs of an imminent attack. The suspect has been ordered to remain in custody pending further investigation.
