A study by BRANZ in New Zealand found a gap between homeowner perceptions and actual home health. Despite 90% of Kiwis believing their homes are healthy, 48% report mould and 33% face dampness. While living rooms and bedrooms have gotten warmer, night-time bedroom temperatures are still suboptimal, particularly in lower-income households. BRANZ emphasizes the need for faster progress to address these issues.
