Scottish subsea company Sulmara has received an $18.9 million investment from BGF to expand its survey and inspection services for the offshore wind and energy sectors. The investment will support the development of new technologies, including uncrewed surface vessels and autonomous underwater vehicles, aimed at reducing the environmental impact of offshore projects. Founded in 2019, Sulmara's annual revenue exceeds $70 million, with a 61% growth rate over four years. The company serves major clients such as Orsted, Chevron, and Seaway7.
