India accelerates MRAs with 30 countries to simplify trade and reduce costs.

India is speeding up negotiations for Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs) with about 30 countries to ease international trade and cut costs. MRAs reduce the need for dual certifications. Agreements are already in place with the US, South Korea, and UAE, among others. India is also enhancing its Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) program, which identifies safe and compliant traders, and improving in digital and sustainable trade indices.
