Jeremy Cross, a British Columbia resident, has published a 178-page book detailing his struggles with homelessness and addiction to drugs like fentanyl, crystal meth, and GHB in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. After surviving multiple overdoses and being arrested, Cross detoxed in jail and became sober. Now, he works as a peer support worker and is involved in community initiatives like the Run for Sobriety Association, aiming to inspire others and raise awareness about addiction recovery.
