FERC approves Cheniere Energy's plan to start producing LNG at its Texas facility by year-end.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has approved Cheniere Energy's plan to introduce natural gas into its Corpus Christi LNG expansion project in Texas. This approval advances the company's goal to begin producing liquefied natural gas (LNG) from its Stage 3 plant before the end of 2024. The plant, which consists of seven gas-processing units, is expected to have a capacity of about 10 million metric tons of LNG per year.
