The UK faces a severe gynaecology care crisis, with over 750,000 patients waiting for treatment.

The UK is facing a "gynaecology care crisis" with over 750,000 patients waiting for treatment, a number that has more than doubled in England since the pandemic. The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) reported that 76% of women waiting for care have seen worsening mental health, and 69% struggle to participate in daily activities. The Department of Health and Social Care plans to invest £22.6 billion to address the issue and reduce wait times.
