Two pedestrian fatalities occurred on Tuesday in South Palm Beach County, Florida. The first happened in the morning at 7:25 a.m. in Delray Beach, where a Tri-Rail train struck and killed a man walking on Lake Ida Road near Congress Avenue. In the evening around 7:48 p.m., a Brightline train struck and killed a pedestrian near the intersection of Dixie Highway and Hidden Valley Boulevard in Boca Raton. Both incidents are under investigation, and the roads were closed for several hours.
