Two paramedics were injured Tuesday night when their Chicago Fire Department ambulance crashed into a red SUV in McKinley Park. The ambulance, with its lights and siren on, hit the SUV at the intersection of 35th Street and Leavitt Street around 9 p.m. The SUV's occupants were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital as a precaution and are in good condition, while the paramedics' injuries are unspecified.
