Swedish company Stegra secures power deals for its new green steel plant in Boden, Sweden.

Stegra, a Swedish company, has signed long-term power purchase agreements with Uniper and Axpo Nordic to supply electricity for its green hydrogen, iron, and steel production plant in Boden, Sweden. Uniper's agreement provides 6TWh over six years starting 2027, while Axpo Nordic will supply 2.25TWh over three years from 2027. Stegra's plant aims to produce 2.5 million tonnes of green steel annually, supporting Sweden's green industrial goals.
