A rider jumped off Phoenix's Desert Storm roller coaster mid-ride due to a safety bar issue; the park is investigating.
A man at Phoenix's Castles N' Coasters jumped off the Desert Storm roller coaster after his safety lap bar supposedly unlocked mid-ride. The park gave him a refund but the ride remains closed pending investigation. Similar incidents have occurred at other parks, including Disney and Six Flags. The Desert Storm, operating since 1992, is a large roller coaster with inversion loops.
