Punjab's Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, announced the establishment of Pakistan's first Tier-Four Data Centre in the Nawaz Sharif IT City. La ministra principal de Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, anunció el establecimiento del primer Centro de Datos Tier-Four de Pakistán en la ciudad de Nawaz Sharif IT. The project aims to boost Pakistan's technological infrastructure and attract international universities, including those from China, England, and others, to set up campuses. El proyecto tiene como objetivo impulsar la infraestructura tecnológica de Pakistán y atraer a universidades internacionales, incluyendo las de China, Inglaterra, y otras, para establecer campus. An AI and IT University is also planned, with a focus on completing the IT City Twin Towers. También está prevista la creación de una universidad de inteligencia artificial y tecnología de la información, con el objetivo de completar las Torres Gemelas de IT City.
