Novonix to supply graphite for PowerCo's new $7B EV battery plant in Ontario, starting 2027.

Australian company Novonix will supply key graphite components to PowerCo's new EV battery plant in St. Thomas, Ontario, starting in 2027. The $7 billion facility aims to produce lithium-ion batteries, with Novonix providing 32,000 tonnes of high-performance synthetic graphite over five years. Construction of the plant, which will employ about 3,000 people, is set to begin in 2025, marking a significant step in North America's EV supply chain.
