Northern Lights may appear in parts of the U.S. due to solar activity, visible Thanksgiving weekend.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicts the Northern Lights may be visible in parts of the northern U.S. on Thanksgiving and Black Friday due to geomagnetic storms caused by solar activity. While a winter storm might reduce visibility, the lights could be seen as far south as New York, Wisconsin, and Washington state. Skywatchers are advised to find areas with less light pollution for the best view.
