Nigerian political party APGA challenges court ruling that replaced its National Chairman.

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has petitioned Nigeria's National Judicial Council (NJC) over a recent court ruling by Justice James Kolawole Omotosho. The ruling ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to replace APGA's recognized National Chairman, Edozie Njoku, with Sly Ezeonwuka. APGA founder, Chief Chekwas Okorie, criticized the decision, stating it contradicts a previous Supreme Court ruling and undermines judicial process. The party awaits the NJC's response to address concerns over judicial overreach.
