A groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new $4.4 billion state-of-the-art hospital in Moruca, Guyana, supported by the government and the Inter-American Development Bank. The 24-month project, handled by PCI Sinopharmintl Consortium, aims to improve healthcare for over 30,000 residents with advanced services like operating theatres, an ER, digital x-ray, and CT scans. President Irfaan Ali emphasized the hospital’s role in addressing healthcare disparities in the region.
