Lennon's rare, 8-page letter inviting Clapton to join a '70s supergroup to be auctioned in Spain.

A rare, eight-page handwritten letter from John Lennon to Eric Clapton, inviting him to join a new band, will be auctioned in Spain on December 5. The letter, dated from the 1970s, proposes a "nucleus group" with musicians including Klaus Voorman, Jim Keltner, Nicky Hopkins, and Phil Spector. Lennon suggests Clapton's involvement would "bring back the balls in rock 'n' roll." Additionally, Capitol Records is collaborating with Online Ceramics for a capsule collection celebrating The Beatles' 60th anniversary, and a documentary titled "Beatles '64" will screen on December 5 with a panel discussion, streaming on Disney+ starting November 29.
