Financial advisers are ending relationships with more clients due to unmet needs and service requirements.

Nearly three-quarters of financial advisers are ending relationships with more clients than usual, according to a NextWealth study. Two-thirds of advisers have already identified clients to part ways with, and over half expect offboarding to increase in the next year. Reasons include changing client needs, unmet service requirements, and increased advice fees. Firms with defined client profiles are more likely to offboard clients.
