The FHFA raises the conforming loan limit to $806,500 for single-family homes starting next year.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) has increased the conforming loan limit for single-family homes to $806,500, a 5.2% rise from 2024, effective next year. This adjustment reflects rising home values and aids homebuyers in financing higher-priced homes without resorting to jumbo mortgages. Higher limits, up to $1,209,750, will apply in certain high-cost areas and states like Alaska and Hawaii.
