CERN partners with Voltalia to buy renewable energy from French solar farms, cutting CO2 emissions.

CERN, the European nuclear research organization, has partnered with Voltalia to purchase electricity from two solar farms in France. The 15-year Corporate Power Purchase Agreements will provide CERN with 26.8 MW of renewable energy, reducing CO2 emissions by 8,775 tons annually. This collaboration supports CERN's goal of improving energy efficiency and minimizing energy consumption.
