Canadian MP Randy Boissonnault's company is suspended from federal contracts over 'Indigenous-owned' claim.

Canada's Public Services and Procurement Canada has suspended Global Health Imports, a company co-founded by Liberal MP Randy Boissonnault, from federal contracts for 90 days. The suspension follows allegations that the company falsely claimed to be "Indigenous-owned." Boissonnault, who resigned from his cabinet position, insists he has not been involved with the company since his re-election in 2021. The company has one active contract with Elections Canada, but no deliveries or payments have been made.
