A 40-year-old man died in a crash on Highway 95 in Idaho after swerving to avoid traffic.

A 40-year-old man died in a crash on Highway 95 northbound near Eid Road, south of Moscow, Idaho, on Monday around 10:30 a.m. The driver of a blue 2001 Ford Focus, who was not wearing a seatbelt, swerved to avoid stopped traffic due to construction and collided with a white 2021 Chevrolet Silverado. The Ford then went off the embankment. The 65-year-old driver of the Silverado, who was wearing a seatbelt, was uninjured. The highway was closed for about three hours.
