Woman dies in single-vehicle crash on Brandon Avenue SW in Roanoke; child at scene evaluated.
A single-vehicle crash on Brandon Avenue SW in Roanoke on Monday evening resulted in the death of a woman, who was pronounced dead at a local hospital. A child at the scene was conscious and breathing and was taken for medical evaluation. The road was temporarily closed for investigation and has since reopened.
