A 47-year-old woman died after being hit by a white SUV in Chicago's Ashburn neighborhood around 11:25 p.m. on Monday. The incident occurred on West Columbus Avenue when the pedestrian was struck by a 48-year-old driver who stayed at the scene. The woman was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center where she later died. A citation is pending.
