A KPMG UK survey found that 22% of people experienced card and phone payment issues in the past six months, leading 68% to carry more cash. The use of cash weekly increased to 53% from 47% last year. Among payment methods, debit cards were most common (44%), followed by credit cards (23%), cash (20%), and digital wallets (9%). The survey highlights the need for reliable payment systems and the importance of maintaining cash options for consumers.
